this code on your widget as an arbitrary text or HTML:

Or installing the plugin following these indications

 1. Upload the file to a wp-content/plugin
 2. Enable plugin
 3. Go to Appearance > widgets
 4. Drag the widget to the desired sidebar .
 5. Check the verse is displayed correctly!
