Files can be organized into unlimited nested folders, moved between folders using drag & drop, and displayed by folder in both grid and list view. #### Features * Unlimited nested folders (subfolders) * Create, rename, delete and move folders via context menu * Drag & drop to move folders into new hierarchies * Individual folder colors * File counter per folder including recursive count of subfolders * Drag & drop to assign files to folders * Multiple file selection (Shift-click for range selection) * Sort files by name or date (ascending/descending) * Selection counter and bulk delete with confirmation * Collapsible sidebar, sticky when scrolling * Context menu (three-dot button) per folder: Edit, New Subfolder, Delete * Last selected folder is restored on next page visit * Clean modern design using Inter font #### Installation 1. Upload the plugin folder to `/wp-content/plugins/` 2. Activate the plugin through the Plugins menu in WordPress 3. Open the Media Library – the Neat Media sidebar appears automatically on the left #### Data Storage Neat Media does not create custom database tables. No. Deleting a folder only removes the folder and its assignments. All media files remain in the Media Library and become uncategorized. ### How do I assign files to a folder? Select files in the Media Library using checkboxes, then drag and drop them onto a folder in the sidebar. ### Can I use this plugin on mobile devices? Yes. Drag & drop works on touch devices as well. Long press (500ms) on a folder opens the context menu. ### Does it work with page builders? The plugin works alongside all major page builders.
