The services below are contacted only when you use the feature that needs them; none of them is used to track you or your visitors, and no data is sent to the plugin author. #### Google Fonts (Google LLC) Used to show the Google fonts you pick in the editor. When a published page uses a Google font, the visitor’s browser loads the font stylesheet from fonts.googleapis. com and the font files from fonts.gstatic.com, which sends the visitor’s IP address and browser user agent to Google. If you turn on «Load Google Fonts locally», your server downloads the stylesheet and font files from the same two hosts once, when you save that setting or click Download, and visitors load the fonts from your own site instead. Sidcraft Page Builder does not contact any AI service itself and stores no AI credentials. When you send a chat message, it is passed to the WordPress AI Client (WordPress 7.0 and later), which sends it to the AI provider that a site administrator connected under Settings Connectors. The request contains your message, the conversation so far and an outline of the page you are editing( unit types, text, layout settings, class and variable names). The provider’s own terms and privacy policy apply; they are linked from the provider’s connector. Nothing is sent when the chat is not used, and importing HTML sends nothing. #### Kit and template import When you import a kit or template file whose images are listed by URL rather than packed in the file, your server downloads each image from the address in the file so it can be added to your Media Library. The request goes to whichever site hosts that image, and sends only your server’s IP address and a WordPress user agent. ### Source code The editor script (assets/js/editor.js) is built from the files in src/editor/ with esbuild. Open the page and choose **Edit with Sidcraft Page Builder**, or use the admin-bar link. Posts and Pages work as soon as you activate the plugin. Other public types stay off until you enable them under Sidcraft Page Builder Settings General. ### Where are the settings? Colors, type, and breakpoints are under Design System. ### How do I add Cloudflare Turnstile to a form or login? Add your Turnstile keys under Sidcraft Page Builder Settings Integrations. Then select the Form unit and set Content Spam protection to **Require Cloudflare Turnstile**, or select the Login unit and turn on **Security Require Cloudflare Turnstile**. With Sidcraft Builder Pro, the Login & Register and Payment Form units have the same switch under Security. ### Why is the Submit or Log In button greyed out? That form requires Cloudflare Turnstile. The button stays disabled until the visitor completes the Turnstile check, then it turns on. It locks again if the check expires or after each submission, because every Turnstile token can be used only once. If the button never turns on, make sure your site key allows this domain and that nothing blocks challenges.cloudflare.com. ### Is Cloudflare Turnstile better than reCAPTCHA? Turnstile is a free, privacy-friendly CAPTCHA alternative from Cloudflare that usually passes without puzzles. You do not need to use Cloudflare for DNS. Sidcraft Page Builder supports both, so choose per form. ### Does the Turnstile option protect wp-login.php too? The Login unit’s switch protects logins sent from that unit. To protect the standard WordPress login screen as well, turn on Settings Integrations WordPress forms Login form. The comment form can be protected there too. ### How can I test Turnstile before going live? Click **Use Cloudflare test keys** under Settings Integrations. Every challenge passes with these keys, so replace them with your real keys before launch. ### Does Sidcraft Page Builder work with my theme and with Gutenberg? On the normal WordPress editing screen, Sidcraft Page Builder does not load its full editor. The Sidcraft Page Builder Template block and the Edit with Sidcraft Page Builder launcher still appear. You can turn off Sidcraft Page Builder’s default colors and fonts so the theme keeps those. See the [FAQ](https://canvasly.pro/faq.html). ### Do I need to know how to code? No. The free unit library, templates, and design system cover a typical page. Custom CSS, HTML, and the Code unit are there when you want them. ### Can I build landing pages with Sidcraft Page Builder? Yes. Use the Canvas page template for a blank page without the theme header and footer, then add a hero, pricing, testimonials and a form with Turnstile protection. ### Is Sidcraft Page Builder responsive and mobile friendly? Yes. Every layout and style value can be set per breakpoint, and the editor previews desktop, tablet and mobile. ### Can I reuse a section on another page? Right-click a Container or Grid and choose Save as Template. Place it later with the Template unit, `[sidcraft_page_builder_template id="42"]`, the Sidcraft Page Builder Template block, or the Sidcraft Page Builder Template sidebar widget. Attributes are listed on the [shortcodes page](https://canvasly.pro/shortcodes.html). ### Why is a unit missing from the library? Units Manager can disable a type or hide it from your role. Nested Tabs, Accordion, and Toggle, Collection Loop, and Grid container can also be switched off under Settings Features. Shop units are absent unless WooCommerce is active. Pro units are absent unless [Sidcraft Builder Pro](https://canvasly.pro/price.html) has started. ### I saved a page but visitors still see the old version. Why? A page cache (from a caching plugin, your host, or a CDN) is serving an older copy. Sidcraft Page Builder clears the page from WP-Optimize, WP Super Cache, W3 Total Cache, WP Rocket, LiteSpeed Cache, SiteGround Optimizer, Breeze, WP Fastest Cache, FlyingPress, NitroPack, Hummingbird and Cache Enabler when you save. For any other cache, purge it from that plugin, your host panel or your CDN after saving. ### Will Sidcraft Page Builder slow down my site? CSS and scripts load only for the units on the page. You can print CSS as external files, cache non-dynamic unit HTML, lazy-load images, and self-host Google Fonts. The Turnstile script loads only on pages with a protected form. Sidcraft Page Builder works with WPML and Polylang and is translation ready. ### How do I move the site to a new address? Use Sidcraft Page Builder Settings Tools Replace URL. Run Dry run first. On a device they are hidden on (switch devices in the top bar), they are greyed out with a dashed, striped outline. On every device they carry a label such as «Hidden on Tablet, Mobile». They stay editable, and published pages do not change. #### 1.3.11 * Fixed: in the editor canvas, a container with the Grid layout always showed three rows of equal height, so a grid with one row of units (for example three columns) had two empty rows below it, each as tall as the content. The published page showed no such rows. The canvas now matches the published page. Empty rows to drop into appear while you drag a unit or element, and in an empty grid. * New: fit a container to its content. Drag its bottom edge up to its units, double- click its bottom edge, or click «Fit height to content» under Structure in its Content tab. This removes the container’s min height, fixed height and empty grid rows. Undo restores them. Dragging the bottom edge down still sets a min height. * Fixed: dropping a unit into an empty grid cell put it in the first row; it now goes into the cell highlighted while you drag. #### 1.3.10 * Editor canvas: the tab above a hovered or selected unit or container (add, move and delete) is now blue with white icons instead of pink with black icons, matching the editor’s other selection colors. #### 1.3.9 * Editor canvas: a container that already holds units no longer shows a «Drop unit here» box at its end. The box, and the gap above it, added space to the bottom of every container, and the space added up in containers inside containers, so the canvas was taller than the published page. The box appears again while you drag a unit or element, so you can still drop at the end of a container. Empty containers still show it. You can also select a container and click a unit in the panel to add it inside. * The space inside a container is set with Style > Padding and the gap between its units with Style > Items > Gap. With Sidcraft Builder Pro 1.3.7: 22 instead of 34, and 26 instead of 47. * Admin screens: the check that keeps the HTML-copy helper current no longer rewrites its marker on every visit to the Plugins screen. * No change to how pages look: the HTML output is the same. #### 1.3.7 * AI Chat Bot: new «Website» button. With Sidcraft Builder Pro, enter a website address, choose its pages and rebuild them as Sidcraft pages with the same design: as new draft pages, or one page as a plan for the page you are editing. Pages are converted directly (same layout, colors, fonts and images) or rebuilt by the AI. Without Pro the button answers «This feature is available to Sidcraft Builder PRO.» * HTML import: headings, text and images keep styles that reach them through descendant or tag selectors and the browser’s defaults (for example bold headings, «.card h3» colors, rounded images, paragraph spacing), so the theme no longer replaces them. * HTML import: a flex or grid row of links (a menu) keeps one item per link instead of running them together. * Fixed: HTML imports named their leftover style classes imported-1, imported-2 and so on, starting again for every import. The classes are shared by the whole site, so a later import changed the look of earlier pages. They are now named after their styles. * New for add-ons: `SidcraftPageBuilder.planToDocument(ops)` builds a page document from a plan without changing the open page, and `htmlToPlan` accepts a `classPrefix` option. #### 1.3.6 * AI Chat Bot: can add entrance animations. The instructions describe the Motion Effects settings of classic units (fade, slide-up or scale; trigger, duration, delay, easing, threshold, repeat), so «make the cards fade in one after another» is applied directly. * AI Chat Bot: the page outline shows the effects each unit already uses (entrance animations, plus effect settings add-ons register through the new `effectKeys` entry of `sidcraft_page_builder_ai_chat_config`), so the AI can change or remove them. * AI Chat Bot: on/off and number settings written by the AI in any tab are stored the way the unit expects (for example «yes» becomes true and «80» becomes 80). #### 1.3.5 * Fixed: when another plugin registers its own unit under a core unit’s type (Sidcraft Builder Pro’s Price Table), the canvas now shows that plugin’s preview. Before, it drew the core Price Table template, which reads different settings, so the badge, description, currency, crossed-out features and button text did not appear in the editor (the published page was correct). The editor data marks such units with `replaces_core`, and the canvas runs the `editor/node/body_html` filters on their final markup. * Fixed: the `editor/render` action now runs again once a fully redrawn canvas has loaded. Add-ons that style the canvas on this action (such as Sidcraft Builder Pro’s unit styles) were applied to the canvas document that was about to be replaced, so their styles were missing until the first edit. #### 1.3.4 * AI Chat Bot: fills classic units (price tables, accordions, tabs, testimonials, counters, forms…) with real content instead of leaving their defaults. Each turn now tells the AI the content settings of the classic units that matter most for the request: units already on the page or selected first, then units named in the message (for example «pricing» or «FAQ»), then the core units, within a fixed size budget. Lists such as features, FAQ items or testimonials are written in full. * AI Chat Bot: classic units on the page are described with their current content, so the AI can change one FAQ answer or price-table feature in place. * AI Chat Bot: settings written by the AI are stored the way each unit expects ( on/off switches, an ID on every list item). * Fixed: on very large pages the page outline sent to the AI could exceed the 120,000- character limit and reach the AI cut off mid-way. It is now kept within the limit, using a shorter outline when needed. #### 1.3.3 * Performance: dynamic tags build their value map (which sanitizes the whole post content) only when a setting contains a `{{lb:...}}` token. On builder pages with large content this saved about 8% of the render. * Fixed: Plugin Check warning «The use of function set_time_limit() is discouraged». Saving page copies right before deactivation no longer raises PHP’s time limit; it stops in time to stay within the host’s limit and the background sweep saves any pages left. * Performance: a page with 200 units renders about twice as fast. Each unit type builds its control schema once per request instead of once or twice per unit, and only when the unit has dynamic tags or repeater items that need it. * Performance: the frontend asset scan runs once per page instead of once for wp_enqueue_scripts and again for the_content. * Performance: without WPML or Polylang, unit settings skip the translation pass, which changed nothing but walked every setting. * Performance: plain text settings (no `{` or `(`) skip the dynamic-token and eval checks, which cannot change them. The interaction preset list is built once per request. * Saving a 200-unit page is about 40% faster. #### 1.3.2 * New: pages keep their exact look when Sidcraft Page Builder is deactivated. The builder saves a full copy of each published builder page (refreshed after each save, in the background, after a template change, and right before deactivation), and a small must-use plugin serves it while the builder is off: columns, backgrounds, spacing, fonts, forms, buttons, video, audio, iframes, maps, embeds and sliders stay in place. The readable copy in post_content is unchanged and is still used for search, feeds and the block editor, and for any page edited while the builder is off. Uninstalling removes the saved copies and the must-use plugin. * New: a notice on the Plugins screen and Dashboard shows how many published builder pages have a saved full copy, and why the site could not save one by itself ( for example when the host blocks requests to its own pages). Sidcraft Page Builder Tools has an HTML copies of pages section (also linked as Save HTML copies under the plugin on the Plugins screen) that always shows the status and a Save HTML copies now button. The button saves the copies from your browser, which works even when those requests are blocked. A logged-out visit to a page without a current copy also saves one. * Performance: the HTML copies are stored as files in uploads/sidcraft-page-builder/ html-copies/ (with a small record in post meta), so viewing a page never loads its copy. The copy status on the Dashboard and Plugins screens is read in a few queries and cached for 10 minutes, and the must-use plugin check runs on the Plugins screen or twice a day instead of on every admin request. * Developers: filters `sidcraft_page_builder_page_snapshot_enabled`, `sidcraft_page_builder_snapshot_serve` and `sidcraft_page_builder_snapshot_addons` (add-ons that render part of a page record themselves on each copy), and `PageSnapshot::refresh_stale()`. #### 1.3.0 * Fixed: Query Monitor and browsers still reported «Insecure content» for global. css, post-*.css and the self-hosted font stylesheet on some HTTPS sites. Behind a proxy, load balancer or CDN (for example Cloudflare), WordPress cannot see that the visitor is on HTTPS, so the 1.2.5 fix kept http://. The builder now also checks the X-Forwarded-Proto, X-Forwarded-SSL, CF-Visitor and Forwarded headers and the Site Address; when HTTPS still cannot be detected it uses a scheme- relative URL (//…) that always follows the page’s own scheme. * Fixed: a final style_loader_src check moves builder stylesheets to https:// if a cache or another plugin rewrites them back to http://. * Developers: filter `sidcraft_page_builder_scheme_relative_url`. #### 1.2.5 * Fixed: on HTTPS sites whose WordPress Address is still saved as http:// (common behind a proxy, CDN or after moving to HTTPS), the generated global.css and post-*. css stylesheets and the self-hosted Google Fonts stylesheet were loaded over http://, which browsers block as insecure (mixed) content. Their URLs now follow the scheme of the page being viewed. * Fixed: self-hosted Google Font files are now referenced relative to their stylesheet, so they load on both http and https. The font stylesheet is rebuilt automatically on the next save or font refresh. #### 1.2.4 * Fixed: HTML import. A button whose HTML sets no background or text color (an outline or text-style button) no longer turns into a dark filled XEditor button; it keeps the background and text color it had in the original page. #### 1.2.3 * Changed: the AI Chat Bot now uses the AI Client built into WordPress 7.0 and later, with the provider connected under Settings Connectors. Conversions run in small batches within the PHP time and memory limits, save progress after every page, and resume after a closed tab, timeout or fatal error (Tools screen, REST, or `wp sidcraft-page- builder convert-batch`). Every failure names the page and the element where it stopped; a failed page is never changed. All pages with Elementor data can be converted, not only the 200 listed. * New: Navigator tools.
