This plugin adds Google’s reCAPTCHA form to your BuddyPress’ registration page to keep your community spam-free! You can use out simple option panel to add reCAPTCHA credentials right from your Dashboard without editing any files.

This plugin is a forked version of BuddyPress reCAPTCHA plugin, which requires you to edit plugin core files to configure reCAPTCHA.

Instal·lació

Upload the plugin to your ‘wp-content/plugins’ directory, or download and install automatically through your admin panel.
Activate the plugin through the ‘Plugins’ menu in WordPress.
Configure reCAPTCHA settigns from Settings > BuddyPress Captcha menu.

I am getting a message on top of my wordpress: “After updating to BuddyPress Captcha version 1.2, you’re required to update your reCaptcha keys with reCaptcha API 2.0 keys to use the updated version.” where am i supposed to update the recaptcha api keys? also the pictures used to show up asking to identify what’s in the pic but it no longer does it, is something wrong? I am getting un-wanted/spammy users registering even with this plugin. What’s going on and how to resolve these issues?

Seems to work just fine after modifying the css to enable it to sit in the right hand column. This worked for me: #buddypress #security-section.register-section { float: right; width:48%; } Plus the modification of one line in bp-recaptcha.php as shown here https://wordpress.org/support/topic/please-check-the-captcha-code-its-not-correct/#post-6704142

I just installed this plugin today. I used the latest version of wordpress and Buddypress and 2015 wordpress theme. I installed it and made it work within 30 minutes. So far, no spam accounts are created by bots yet. Our site Nolymit.com had received many spam accounts each day. Thank you for your great work. But one small thing need to be fixed for this plugin. After it is installed, I found that this label “CAPTURE code” is displayed at different location on this Registration page in different browsers. So this label is not needed now as all people know this Google Capture box !
