Instal·lació

This section describes how to install the plugin and get it working.

  1. Upload the plugin files to the /wp-content/plugins/ directory, or install the plugin through the WordPress plugins screen directly.
  2. Activate the plugin through the ‘Plugins’ screen in WordPress
  3. A new menu item wil appear, named ‘CountDown FlipClock’. Add your own clock and copy the shortcode shown below the publish button or only the ClockID.
  4. Add the shortcode in any post, page or editor manually or use the button provided for the same. Then paste the ClockID within the quotes.
  5. You’re Done!!!

I have entered the shortcode but the section displays nothing

You have to add the ending date of the countdown in order for the correct functioning of the FlipClock. If it still doesn’t work, please feel free to contact us at support@bluelevel.in.

Countdown not working via shortcode on page. Fonts from plugin screenshots not available. Can’t save as Daily countdown. Can’t save with day/hours/minute labels.

The Notice is also visible when im not logged in as admin Notice: Undefined variable: allow_url_include in /hp/cf/ac/fs/www/mw2_wordpress/wp-content/plugins/countdown-flipclock/FlipClock.php on line 42

The plugin works extremely well until few days ago since the last update. But it’s okay, I’ll give it 5 stars because it was great (while it lasted).

GREAT SUPPORT

At first this plugin didn’t work. I was trying to enter the date in US format in the plain text field for date, which was not correct. But this countdown clock is so beautiful and simple to use that I decided to email support in the 1 in a million chance I would actually get a response back. To my surprise, I heard back from the developer in a day, and he gave me more instructions on how to enter the date. He subsequently proceeded to upgrade the plugin to make the date a calendar picker, and that solved my issue. I’m happy to report I am successfully using this plugin on my page. Thanks to the support folks! Not going to give it 5 stars until they fix their Plugin Homepage link (which is broken) and specify in the countdown entry page that the date is in non-US format (DD-MM-YYYY). The calendar picker went a long way, but not everyone will use it if they can type the date, so the instruction will be important to avoid frustration for others in the future. ina
